Effective date: 28 September 2026
1. Your choice comes first
StarManifest keeps optional analytics and advertising measurement off until you choose to allow them. Rejecting optional processing does not prevent you from browsing, ordering or receiving a report.
Optional browser analytics and advertising run only on Home and Reports. Other pages do not load Microsoft Clarity or Meta Pixel, even if you previously accepted these categories. Private order-status URLs are also excluded.
You can reopen at any time to change or withdraw your decision.
2. Essential storage
Essential storage is used only where the website cannot provide a requested feature safely without it. It does not require optional consent.
- Consent preference: browser local storage remembers the analytics and advertising choices you made and the policy version. It stays until you clear site data or we replace the policy version.
- Report recovery: after an order is created, an HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite cookie named for the order can keep its private status and interrupted-payment recovery available. Its maximum life follows the report-data retention period.
- Security and payment: Cloudflare Turnstile and Razorpay may use storage that is strictly necessary to prevent abuse, authenticate checkout and complete the payment you request. Their own notices govern storage on their services.
3. Analytics — optional
If you allow Analytics, Microsoft Clarity can set first- and third-party cookies such as _clck, _clsk, CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID and SM. These support aggregated usage analytics and masked session replay. StarManifest masks checkout and order-status areas. Before Analytics consent, Clarity Consent Mode is denied and provides only cookieless, page-scoped measurement without persistent Clarity cookies or cross-page continuity.
If you withdraw Analytics, StarManifest sends a denied consent signal to Clarity and asks it to erase its cookies.
Cookie-free aggregate page counts
Separately, Home and Reports send our own server a page-load signal and a signal when the page becomes visible. These counts run independently of optional Clarity and advertising consent. The counter uses no cookies, visitor IDs, session recordings, form values or cross-page profiles. It retains only daily totals by page, a fixed Meta-tagged or other/untagged source category, event type and suspected-bot classification. Full URLs and campaign or click identifiers are not sent. The server briefly uses network addresses for abuse limits and user-agent information for coarse bot classification, without saving either in these counters. Ordinary infrastructure security logs remain separate. Counts are not unique people or proof of human visitors.
4. Advertising measurement — optional
Meta Pixel is not requested before you allow Advertising measurement. If you allow it, Meta Pixel sends PageView, a report-specific ViewContent event when a report is opened and an InitiateCheckout event when checkout is opened. These can include the public report product identifier and title, page URL, displayed total, INR currency, browser, device, network and Meta cookie identifiers, but not the buyer name, contact details or birth details. Automatic form and button tracking is disabled, and private order-status URLs are excluded. Meta may set or read advertising cookies. StarManifest does not install an OpenAI advertising pixel.
If you then complete a purchase, the server may send Meta one Purchase event containing the public report product identifier and title, time, amount and currency, together with one-way SHA-256 hashes of the buyer email and mobile number. It may also send OpenAI Ads one Order Created event containing a one-way opaque event ID derived from the payment reference, event time, the StarManifest reports URL and the event type. The OpenAI Ads event does not contain the buyer's name, email, mobile number, amount, currency, birth information, report selection, public StarManifest order reference or raw Razorpay payment ID.
Separately, advertiser-controlled UTM labels in an order URL may be retained with that order for StarManifest's own revenue reporting. This does not use an advertising cookie and does not retain fbclid, Meta cookie identifiers or a cross-page visitor profile.
No advertising measurement job is created for an order when this category is rejected. Withdrawing Advertising measurement sends Meta a denied consent signal and stops future optional browser events from this page.
5. Manage or withdraw consent
Use the optional Advertising measurement choice shown in report checkout or the Cookie choices control fixed at the bottom of any page. Optional categories are off by default. Saving a new choice replaces the earlier choice for future processing. Clearing browser site data also clears the saved preference, so the website will ask again.
