Mercury retrograde and other dates in your next 12 months

Mercury retrograde describes an apparent backward motion seen from Earth; it does not mean Mercury physically reverses its orbit. Astrology assigns symbolic meaning to these periods, often around reviewing plans or communication. That interpretation is not evidence that travel, technology or a relationship will fail. The dates can be calculated precisely even though their proposed meaning is interpretive, and those two things should not be confused.

Life Blueprint includes a next-twelve-months chapter with dated events and explanations. In this fictional sample, that chapter contains 48 entries, including Mercury turns, Moon phases, eclipses and personal returns. The table names its clock; your report's dates and timezone should be read as printed. The sample lets you inspect one complete row and the surrounding explanation before deciding whether you want the broader report. No date is a reason to stop making ordinary practical plans.

A chart reading is a way to reflect, not evidence that an event must happen. Your choices, other people and practical circumstances still matter. The fictional sample below shows the actual format before you decide. Your own answer, dates and report length depend on your birth details. The report also explains what depends on the accuracy of your birth time, so you can separate a stable finding from one that needs more care.

Sample report — fictional birth details

The Moon returns to where it was at your birth, in a water sign. A Moon return comes around about every 27 days. Make some space to notice your feelings without rushing to explain them. This return is in the Waxing Crescent Moon phase band. The Waxing Crescent Moon phase reading concerns gathering what a new plan needs and making first efforts. — Your next 12 months, to the minute · p. 94

This table lists the returns of Jupiter and Saturn, the squares and oppositions of Saturn and Uranus, the returns and half-returns of the lunar nodes and the first squares of Neptune and Pluto. A chapter is listed when its first exact pass falls on or before your 80th birthday. Age is your age at that first pass. — Your life chapters · p. 86

How these numbers are worked out This chapter is read by western numerology, in its Pythagorean form, from your birth date and name as given with the order. It is a separate method from the rest of this report. Only the day of strength at the end of this chapter comes from the birth chart. — Your numbers · p. 107

Before you decide

Should I avoid signing anything during retrograde?

A retrograde date is not legal or financial advice. Review the actual terms and seek qualified help where needed.

Will my report have exactly 48 entries?

Not necessarily. That is the count in this fictional Life Blueprint sample.

Can I use an approximate birth time?

Use your best estimate and state how you know it. Paid checkout currently requires a time; the free snapshot can omit time-dependent sections if you do not know it.
